About me
I’m a creative and tech-savvy Statistician, Data Scientist, and aspiring Data Engineer with a strong foundation in Monitoring & Evaluation, project management, grant reporting, and data analytics.
My journey into tech began at university with a dream of becoming a full-stack software engineer. That dream evolved when I joined a five-month apprenticeship in education technology, where I discovered a deep passion for teaching kids how to code using Scratch and helping them integrate tech into their classrooms and lives. It was during this time that I learned a valuable lesson: being a jack of all trades can dilute mastery — and so I chose to go deeper into what truly excited me — data.
Through my work in M&E and grants administration, I’ve learned to turn raw data into actionable insights, compelling visualizations, and detailed reports that drive impact. Whether it's designing dashboards in Power BI, cleaning and analyzing data in Excel or SPSS, or visualizing trends in Tableau — I thrive at the intersection of data, storytelling, and strategy.
I am fluent in a wide range of tools and techniques, including:
- Machine Learning
- Tableau
- Power BI
- SPSS
- Excel
- SQL
In my free time, I explore passion projects, write, read widely, and stay curious about emerging tech. Lately, I’ve grown especially interested in cybersecurity — a pressing field in an age where data privacy is often overlooked. Alarmingly, studies show that nearly 60% of affiliated agencies don’t adhere to proper data privacy practices — a gap I’m eager to help close.
Above all, I’m driven by a desire to make data accessible, actionable, and impactful — one insight at a time.

Love
Wild at Heart
I want to be loved so badly that I can think straight; the thought of it fills my stomach with butterflies. I may look all gangsta and tough, but deep down, I need tender love without any boundaries—it's all I see when I look in the mirror. When it comes to seduction, I yearn to captivate someone who gives me goosebumps and with whom I can get wildly expressive. If they resist, I'll try a little harder, even if it means being vulnerable. Perhaps together we can build an empire—me as the king and her as my delicate queen—our love story told for ages. The prettiest girls can be wicked, but I want to indulge in their charms and make them surrender to my inner demons. As long as this remains my fantasy, I'd love to make it real.

The Guitar and the Soul
There's something magical about a guitar. It's not just an instrument, it's a vessel for the soul, the expression of thoughts and emotions wrapped in strings. Playing the guitar is not about technical skill alone. As far as creativity and boldness go, Guitaroo is the most interesting person I’ve ever come across. He brings life out of me. Watching him approach random people on the streets and getting them to sing—it’s a classic for me. The way he makes strangers part of his dream is nothing short of magic. He sold his priceless dream to the world, and the world bought it. Guitaroo didn’t just overcome anxiety and fear—he made that courage contagious. Sure, not every day is perfect. Some people say “no,” and he’s genuinely thrilled by that. He’ll say, “Ooh my God, he said no,” with such excitement, it turns even rejection into a story worth celebrating. He always finds a way to make every encounter fun, heartfelt, and beautiful. After his sessions, he often receives heartwarming messages from people who sang with him. They talk about how the experience made them feel re-energized—better, lighter, and happier. Some say they were anxious but ended up having one of their best highs. That’s the effect Guitaroo has. Everything about his show brings light into my soul. The way he gets people to sing, open up, and share joy in the middle of a regular day—it’s incredible. Through him, I’ve learned what confidence and bravery look like in action. He reminds me that everyone is going through something we might never guess just by looking. He teaches me the importance of being obsessed with your purpose and craft. People might not get it now, but eventually, they will. And when they do, they show up. Fans come to sing, to support, to give gifts, and to share their love. Thanks to Guitaroo—aka Reggie—I’ve discovered songs I never would have known. I’ve found joy I never expected. He is truly a masterpiece.

Mindset
Forge a Resilient Mindset
At 5 AM, he’s already up—practicing what he calls building the “four chambers” of world-class living. The first 20 minutes are dedicated to exercise—calisthenics—while staying hydrated. He moves through press-ups, planks, and even Kegel exercises until he breaks a sweat. It’s not just about fitness; it’s a ritual of callousing the mind, preparing himself to face the unpredictable energies, moods, and problems that come with dealing with people at work. Then comes the cold shower—regardless of the season. It’s brutal, but intentional. It toughens the mind, boosts the immune system, and accelerates fat loss. It's his way of saying, “I’m ready,” before the world even starts moving. The next 20 minutes are all about stillness and presence—meditation and journaling. He practices the Yakuza meditation and Monk sitting posture, with calming meditative sounds playing softly in the background. He writes out his plans for the day and lists five small things he’s grateful for—five tiny wins that will make the day feel like a victory. Hydration continues throughout, as he knows the body loses a lot of water during sleep—and staying hydrated aids digestion and boosts energy. Then comes prayer and gratitude—a few quiet minutes to thank God for the blessings he has received and to center himself spiritually. The final 20-minute session focuses on sharpening his mind. This might involve reading, writing, or listening to podcasts. He often dives into biographies of great historical figures—those who have shaped the world in some way. And yes, the hydration ritual continues. This routine leaves him energized, grounded, and walking into the day with a bulletproof mindset. While it's structured into three 20-minute blocks, it’s not rigid—some days, one session might run longer, depending on what the day demands. Every morning is a chance to improve—another rep, another layer, another version of himself.

Love
A Modern-Day Romance
Love is a beautiful thing. If you happen to fall for someone, love them without reservations—whether it’s your first love or your tenth. Love them as if you’ve never loved before. Be delusional, be crazy. But in modern times, love can often feel transactional. They met at work. The man had vowed never to engage in office romances due to the complications they can bring. But when he saw her, his heart skipped a beat. There was an undeniable anxiety, though he didn’t understand why. She seemed calm, composed, just like him. It was as if they were on the same wavelength. Cool people often hide their wildness behind the scenes. Every time their paths crossed, he could only manage a simple “hi” and a casual smile. Thank God people can’t read minds. Despite the chemistry they shared, he never opened up. Opening up seemed too risky, especially with someone you see every day. He didn’t want to be vulnerable, to feel mad, jealous, or hurt—not out of fear of rejection, but because of the awkwardness that follows rejection, or worse, seeing her show interest in other guys. Only God knew how jealous he could be. They say taming your emotions, especially sexual ones, can work in the short term. But eventually, these feelings will erupt in some wild way if not transmuted. Sexual desire is the strongest emotion of all. He had denied wanting any romantic involvement, but deep down, he wanted her. One day, he tried to flirt with her, and to his surprise, she was all in. “I’m Kenyan. Why do you want to know where I’m from? Do you want to pay dowry?” she joked after he asked where she was from. Her friends interrupted the conversation, and he decided to call it quits. He understood how women could toy with your emotions once you made yourself vulnerable. The chemistry was strong on his side. Every time he saw her, it felt like his emotions were burning inside. She seemed to like him, especially his style. One day, she called him about buying some boots. This felt like a trap—how could he escape? Wild fantasies ran through his mind. He imagined making love to her all night, sharing intense emotions. They made plans to meet up another day to shop for boots. He didn’t know where this would lead them, but he knew that being around her made it hard for his mind to calm down. Love is a dangerous game, but it’s better to have love than to never experience it at all.

Freedom Under Control: Health, Speech, and Power
We are being controlled by the government and the corporate world – a system that thrives on controlling both our speech and our food. In collaboration with big pharma, society seems to be hooked into endless product consumption. Chemicals are introduced into our diets, making us sick, only for the same system to sell us drugs that mask the symptoms rather than treat the root cause. The government imposes mandatory health insurance schemes, parading them as saviors of declining public health. Yet, despite heavy taxation, these facilities often lack world-class services. Frequent drug shortages and poor service delivery are symptoms of failed subsidies and misplaced priorities. The government has, in many ways, become an adversary of its own people—profiting from the very health of its citizens. It feels as though our well-being is being sold off for money. From the health of our lands to the well-being of our livestock, everything is commercialized for the benefit of a few, while countless generations are left to suffer. For instance, in many developing countries, leaders are easily lured by money, allowing their citizens to unknowingly act as test subjects for experimental drugs. Harmful chemicals banned in Europe—like some non-synthetic products produced by companies such as Bayer—are pushed into African markets through corrupt deals with local leaders. The list is endless. Freedom of speech seems nearly non-existent in today’s world, especially on platforms like Facebook. Governments, in collaboration with communication service providers, track down and silence critical thinkers who attempt to free the masses from this illusion. Meanwhile, ignorance continues to benefit both the government and greedy corporations. Those who challenge the system are often treated as enemies of the state. The corporate world has become an enforcer of government laws—especially new tax regulations and health directives. Employees are forced to comply immediately, without adequate research or understanding of long-term consequences. Failure to comply often results in job loss. What a messed-up world we live in.

From Pain to Rage
Living a mediocre life was all that life seemed to throw her way. Even though she wasn’t comfortable with it, her environment and friends influenced her choices. In her daily routine, she tried to steer away from the dark roads many took—substance abuse, prostitution—but still, she felt hollow. Lying in bed, waiting for sleep to hijack her thoughts, she felt dead inside. Life felt like crap, and even though she had a roof over her head, it didn’t feel like home. Choices were stripped from her. If she had lived alone, she might have had the strength to say no. She did try—once—but ended up nearly locked out of the house at night. That was the moment it became clear: her hosts were manipulative narcissists. She often wondered—how could someone so beautiful treat her like she was a monster? Did this woman not fear karma? Could she sleep peacefully, knowing she made others cry in her living space? To her, money was always the goal. As long as she got the dough, she felt like she was winning—even if it came at the cost of someone else’s soul. Days passed. Months turned into years. Carissa cursed herself every day. Why did my mom die and leave me in this mess? she would cry. Sometimes, she wished the earth would just swallow her whole. Now that she no longer attracted as many clients, things got worse. Her pimp—her so-called “guardian”—treated her worse than ever. The abuse turned physical. She was no longer a person, just property. One day, a hit around the base of her skull—her medulla oblongata—knocked her unconscious. Hours later, she woke up. But something in her changed. She knew her life was hanging by a thread. Then came the day it all exploded. Years of rage, trauma, humiliation—it boiled over. She felt cornered, unsafe, unloved. The woman—her pimp—had arranged for her to sleep with an old man, a stranger she was expected to marry. Carissa hesitated. The woman became violent, as always. But this time, Carissa didn’t retreat. Something snapped. The demons within her, long buried, surged. In a blind frenzy, she grabbed a knife and stabbed the woman—once, then again. She didn’t stop. The rage flowed through her like lava. Fifty times. Even after her heart stopped beating, Carissa kept going. Only when the silence returned did she feel... released. She packed the body into a polythene bag and dragged it deep into the forest at midnight—leaving it for the hyenas and vultures. To her, it wasn’t just about revenge. It was the burial of her trauma.
